Events: Telling Tails, make tracks to reading

The Rutland Free Library sponsors a summer reading club to encourage year-round reading enjoyment. Reading is an enjoyable summer activity. Reading during the summer also keeps skills sharp for the return to classes in the fall.
Tell us you want to join, and we will give you a reading record and a bookmark. If you want to, you may add your name on a footprint to the display of members' names. You may read as much as you like, anything you like. There are no requirements.
We have free books and ice cream coupons for club members. Children may also
choose to attend any of the performances, craft, and informational programs
offered during the summer at the library. Here are some of the events we'll be having:
Guiding Eye Dogs
July 8, Thursday @ 2pm
Critter Crafts for Dogs
July 15, Thursday @ 1:30 - 3 pm [please register]
Summer Theater
July 23, Friday @ 3 - 4 pm [free tickets at the door. first come, first served]
Snakes Alive!
July 31, Saturday @ 11 am [free tickets at the door. first come, first served]
Vermont Butterflies Program
August 12, Thursday @ 1 - 3 pm [please register]
