{"page_2": " Notes: Reported to be son of a John Clark\nRecords of the Smiths of children recorded\nHe was on the list of Voters for the Town of Castleton,\nin 1816-1817 and August 11, 1818.\nNo record that to owned any land.\nOn April 4, 1817 he was \"named out\" y Castleton as\nfollows:\n\nState and Warrant? To title of the Constables of the Town\nRutland County as) Castleton, in said County.\nGiven - You have hereby required to summon Jonas\nClark out resident in Castleton to desist said claim.\nBeing said not but this present and your doings,\nreason have return makes acceding to law.\nGiven under hands at Castleton, this 1st day of\nApril 1817.\n\nWilliam Gould Constable\n[unclear] Secretary\nRutland County as) Castleton 4th April 1817.
