Page 12 -\nNor thrup,\nMr. Joseph,\ndied Sept. 23rd, 1785, ae. 69\nMrs. Allen Northrup,\ndied Sept. 12, 1784, ae. 66.\nwife of Mr. Joseph Northrup,\nI believe this great great-great grandfather of mine was in the Revolution as found a pension for a Joseph Northrup who fought aoross the state line in\nraven't taken the time to check up as vet.\nI have thought it quite probable that or Allyn, might have been related to Ethan Allen.\nJoseph's wife whose maiden name was Allen\nJoseph Chapman\nwas born in 1776 during the first part of the Revolution; his\nfather and mother were married a month before the\nBattle of Lexington.\nPerhaps\nObadiah could not leave home.
