June 26, 1807.\n\nNotes: Was soldier in Paw War Jan 11, 1819 applied for pension\nat that time was 64 years old and lived in Bennington VT. Declared he\nenlisted was Oct 2th Warre and went to Canada; was in the taking\nat Johns Chamble Montreel and Donel. After the campaign\nwas ended and in 1776 he engaged with Al Benin David and served\na number of months and in March 1777 he enlisted in Col. Seth Warner\nRegt. Continental Troops in Sept West Virginia. Ce for the Army.\nThree years and formerly served out the whole time. Was in the battle\nat Hubbardton was severely wounded and had his arm broken by two\nmusket balls while dressed from ye canal months. By leave of his\nCol. he returned to his friends, hired a physician and after his arm was in\nsome degree restored joined his regiment and was in the battle y\nBennington and at the taking of Bennington at Saratoga.
