the fine print

Residents of Rutland City, Rutland Town, Mendon, Tinmouth, and Ira are all warmly encouraged to activate a RFL eCard via the form above. We encourage parents and guardians to get eCards for their children as well.

Submitting the completed form above activates your eCard, granting you access to our free ebook and digital audiobook lending services, AcornTV  streaming videos, The Great Courses, and our powerful research databases. A staff member will email you when your information has been loaded into our system; your temporary card is then ready to use.  eCards will expire on April 30, 2020. This will be automatically extended month by month until the library building is able to reopen, at which point we would be happy to help eCard users get full memberships & permanent cards.

Permanent cards let users take advantage of our collection of books, DVDs, audiobooks on CD, museum and park passes, popular magazines, and snowshoes, and borrow items from other libraries. To qualify, you will need to bring documents proving identity and mailing address to the Rutland Free Library after we reopen. You can find us at 10 Court Street, Rutland, VT 05701.

If you have questions or concerns, please email us at rutlandfree@rutlandfree.org, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible. “Like” us on Facebook to leave a message there as well.
