Residents of Rutland City, Rutland Town, Mendon, Tinmouth, and Ira are all warmly encouraged to apply for a library card using the form above. We encourage parents and guardians to apply for a library card for their children as well. A staff member will email you after reviewing your information; and will give you instructions as to how to obtain your card.

Once you obtain your library card you will be able to gain access to our free ebook and digital audiobook lending services, AcornTV, Kanopy, The Great Courses, Freegal, and our powerful research databases.

Library cards also let users take advantage of our collection of books, DVDs, audiobooks on CD, museum and park passes, popular magazines, and items borrowed from other libraries. Patrons can request in-house items for curbside pick-up by emailing us at www.rutlandfree.org.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at rutlandfree@rutlandfree.org, and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.
